Bishop Jesse T. Wilson, Sr. was born December 10, 1957, in Youngstown, Ohio. On July 19, 1980, he was united in Holy matrimony to his beautiful wife, Darlene, and they have three wonderful children, two daughters and one son. After graduating from United Electronic Institute, he served in the United States Army as a Pershing Missile Technician. He changed his military occupational specialty field to Supply Logistician. Bishop Wilson, Sr. retired from the United States Army in September 30, 1995. He was awarded the Army Distinguished Meritorious Service Medal for serving as a Substance Food Coordinator during Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti. Immediately after retirement from the military, he was employed by the United States Department of Defense as an Inventory Coordinator. He retired from the Department of Defense after supporting the military as a civilian for 22 years. Bishop Wilson, Sr. served our country and supported the troops of our great nation for almost 40 years while establishing and pastoring churches and ministries in West Germany, Haiti, Ohio, Oklahoma, Snyder, Washington, and currently Hawaii for over 43 years.

 

Bishop Wilson, Sr., received numerous awards from the Mayor and Governor of Hawaii for his civil service and community involvement and service. Also, he was awarded the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Religious Leadership Award from The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in 2015. This award recognized his contributions to advancing the spiritual and social needs of the community in a substantial manner provided by Center of Deliverance community programs. Lastly, he was awarded the Church of God in Christ Urban Initiatives Certificate, which certified that Center of Deliverance Church served the community with strategies and programs that addressed the community's poor academic achievement, financial disenfranchisement, high unemployment, soaring crime levels, the desperate state of humanity, and the breakdown of the family that plagues our cities, small and large, urban, and rural. The ministry continues to make great strides in impacting the community.

 

Bishop Wilson, Sr. is the Jurisdictional Prelate of the Hawaii First Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ, Inc. and the Pastor of Halawa Citadel of Faith Church of God in Christ in Aiea, Hawaii. He is the President of the International Fellowship of Pastors and Churches Ministries (IFPCM), a combined global ministry that impacts our nation and the world.

 

Bishop Wilson, Sr. graduated from Mason Theological Seminary of the Church of God in Christ under the Oklahoma West Jurisdiction. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry with a Minor in Psychology from Wayland University. He is currently enrolled in graduate studies at Wayland Baptist University in Hawaii, pursuing a Master of Divinity degree.

Lady Darlene Wilson was born in Youngstown, Ohio. She was nurtured and reared in a Christian home with holiness teaching from Mount Moriah Church. Holiness was instilled in her at a very young age. On July 19, 1980, she was united in Holy matrimony to Jesse T. Wilson, and six months after the wedding, she followed her husband to Neu Ulm, Germany as a military spouse. While serving with her husband in Germany, she became the First Lady at the Neu Ulm Fellowship Church of God in Christ.

 

Lady Darlene Wilson attended the University of Phoenix, majoring in Business Administration. She worked as a Land Asset Division Administrator at the Kamehameha Schools and served as the administrator for the Center of Deliverance Christian Childcare Center.

 

She received numerous recognitions for her commitment, loyal services to the schools, and compassion and love for the children and their parents at the childcare center. Lady Darlene Wilson is the epitome of a godly woman and Pastor’s wife. Her dedication to excellence is evident in her daily walk with the Lord and her faithful service in every auxiliary in the church. She serves as the Department of Women Executive Board Chairlady for the Hawaii First Jurisdiction. Lady Darlene Wilson is a role model and mentor to the women at Halawa Citadel of Faith, her local church, Oahu communities, and abroad.

 

Bishop Jesse T. Wilson, Sr. and Lady Darlene Wilson are committed and actively involved in reaching souls regardless of race, creed, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status.
